If you heading to see shelving rock falls, be sure to do this quick hike to catch some summit views of lake George too. Very easy hike for any age or active level.

We really enjoyed this hike. It reminds us of The Pinnacle in comparison. Once you reach the top you’ll see the lake but the views are restricted. Definitely follow the small paths down...it will lead you to an open area with views. The views are amazing!!

Well marked and easy hiking trail. Once you reach the summit, be sure to follow a small path to the left to a clearing overlooking Bolton and Lake George. Stunning views!

Nice and easy hike with a spectacular view of Lake George. One of my favorites!

Definitely an easy hike but make sure once you get to the peak to take the narrow foot path down about 100 feet or so to get a better view of the lake.

Great area, we drove all the way out to the end of the road. From there it's a 10 minute walk down to the waters edge. beautiful area. Brings you down to the shore right by "Hen and Chickens Island".

Great beginner’s hike! We went with a 2 and 3 year old who did pretty well but we would probably leave them home next time.

Incredibly easy hike. Pair with Sleeping Beauty, Black, Buck, Erebus, etc for a more productive day. A group of about 100 (literally) tourists were going up as I came down the other day. Very rude and as loud as ever. The summit is not much to write home about and is quite small. Dont know how they would all even fit up there, lol. Nonetheless an easy hike, check out the falls, climb the mountain, back in 2 hours.

The trail itself is well marked and maintained. The view is beautiful at the top of Lake George. However the road and area around the beginning of the trail are not very welcoming. There are many trailheads close together. The parking is very limited for the amount of cars in the area using the trails and it is not well marked where parking is allowed. The town where the trail is located is making a lot of money from hikers who are just trying to enjoy some time in nature.

Great short hike. Is pretty steep and you climb about 800 ft in a little less than a mile and a half. At 22 I found this fun whereas my 55 year old parents struggled a little bit. We all agreed that the view at the top made it worth it! After this hike took a quick 8 minute walk out to the falls to rinse off and enjoy the view, totally awesome day!

Note: this trail doesn't lead to the falls at all we had to leave the parking lot and head further and took the dam access road to the falls.

Very easy hike great for family hiking. Trail was well
Marked and once you reach the summit if you go to the right there is a narrow trail that goes down to the lake.Great views with no trees much better view of the lake.
