Schoharie Creek Preserve Loop is a 1.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Esperance, New York that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Starting and ending at the preserve parking lot, this 1.2 mile loop passes by a series of waterfalls along Wilsey Creek (the northern boundary of the preserve). A portion of the trail to and from Schoharie Creek is quite steep.

The area is very nice (currently a bit overgrown in the spring of 2018) ... due to the steep cliffs about halfway, I wouldn't recommend children.
