Decent beginner walking trail. Have to pay $10 per car and additional for the tour. there are quite a few trails and forks however barely any are listed on the trail map. It is a fairly small park so we were able to walk everything at leisurely pace (except dino trail) in about 2 hrs. the beach is pretty nice and there's a pretty nice picnic area by parking lot. the beach is also close to parking area.

It was so nice. I really enjoyed going there. Forrest, sea, nice views, bridges, the buildings, etc :) different things to see.

I’d really like to give a five star to this place, it covers beautiful shoreline trail, cliff over look, fitness hiking trail as well. However, there are few other spots inside but listed as private guided tour only, need to pay additional $10 per head. The Hempstead house, although not under private tour, was kinda restricted, some people were let to go inside and then the door was immediately locked not allowing everyone. Car parking fee is $10 per car and $4 for individual entering without car. Liked the outer setup of learning center, pictures uploaded.

Great family day. Hiked the dino trail -- very short and easy for the kids, but not boring for the adults.. cute with dinosaurs they can bounce on, hiked the trail that goes to the beach -- short and easy... very enjoyable. Took hour long, tour of one of the castles. Tour guide very knowledgeable and made the castle very interesting. We even went into the old vault!

The trail is part of the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy and it is on the original Guggenheim estate. You can walk onto the grounds for $4 or park for $10. It's a great family outing and there is a mix of paved and dirt trails and you can walk along the cliffs or down to the beach. There are also guided tours along the outer property. There is a lot to see and the grounds are gorgeous. Spring and fall are probably pretty spectacular here.
