Short trail but enjoyable.

Short hike from the parking lot to an overlook featuring great views across and expansive marsh and out to Lake Ontario. The trail winds through the woods, up and down a few hills. Trail may be muddy in spots with recent rain. Excellent nature hike to spot bull frogs, toads, white egrets, red-winged blackbirds, swan, and the American bald eagle. The trailhead is located at the East entrance to Beechwood State Park just off the parking area to the left, opposite the boat launch.

Great location nice hike to the lakefront then you can hike along the lake, trail off parking lot area toward orchard leads you to the lake, other trail along the creek ends and does not take you to the lake.
