Snowshoed this trail just up to Ross Pond. Started snowing on the way back, very pretty. I intend to return in a warmer season as I can only imagine how nice the ponds must look when not covered in snow and ice. I did not know that there is also a trail to some waterfalls from here. Must be quite new since its DEC marked but not on my NatGeo map. Def will check that out in the spring too.
FYI-the trail head is actually several miles east on rte 28 than the listing shows it on the map.

A wet start, But a beautiful hike as it is mainly used to access Ross Pond the further two ponds are the gems of this remote area.
