I came here last September and it was a nice spot- secluded and calm. This time it was a bit disappointing. The water fall area has a lot of branches and logs. The rocks around the waterfall area also seemed to have been moved and the area is no longer flat or conducive to sitting down for lunch.

HikingGreat!

These falls are right off the short Ale Trail. Even though most locals I've talked to call them Reidlbaur Falls, nearby Crystal Brook Resort has put up signs claiming the name, Crystal Brook Falls. There's an entrance to this trail from Glen Falls House. Continue up Winter Clove Road and veer left at the fork. There's a small white trail sign on the left towards the creek. After 50 yards, you'll see the bridge that leads to Reidlbaurs and other trails. (This is the same bridge people refer to if you park your car at Reidlbaurs.) Don't cross it but continue following the creek up the hill. The falls are an easy 1/4 mile up. You can enter Ale Trail from above after you pass the Crystal Brook / Mountain Brauhaus and before you cross the small bridge to Pollys Rock Road. Again, a small white sign marks it. Many trails in the area are mapped and marked for mountain biking. See trail maps at rtmba.org and while most trails are on private property, the property owners are cool about it. Don't abuse the privilege and keep it clean!

Ok. So the GPS Location that Alltrails gives does NOT take you to these falls. Lot of comments about going behind Glen Falls House to access network of trails- None of them go to Riddlebauer’s falls. We hiked on a couple of the trails by the Glen Falls house. Glen Falls themselves are nice. If anyone knows accurate location, please post. These trails are surrounded by private property, beware of dogs. All trails are unmarked!

Drive down road towards Riedlbauer's Resort until you get to dumpsters. Park there & follow the path to the bridge with the small bear statue. If you cross the bridge & go left you travel along the creek to the waterfalls. Pretty views & very quiet!

This is a must hike after the snow has fallen. There are views from both sides of the stream. Park near the dumpsters at the back of the resort or the right.

The trail was so easy to find, cross the bridge and turn left. You can see crystal falls and then continue to walk up the trail along the creek and catch a few more interesting spots in the creek!

WalkingGreat!

We went on a trail that was located behind Glen Falls House, at the end of the driveway next to the falls. I’m not sure if this was the right trail, but we went over the little bridge and turned left and ended up on the Icebox Trail which was awesome. Hardly any people, gorgeous falls. Then we just kind of explored taking different trails on the way back and it was super fun and easy for a little kid, except getting down to any of the falls.

Very easy trail to walk and the falls are gorgeous! I went and nobody else was there. Great for swimming, so refreshing! Park in Reidlbauers Resort parking lot in the back near dumpster before Biergarten.

An easy, pleasant walk in the woods. My kids loved following the rocky creek by the trail and wading into the water in the few deeper spots. We even found tadpoles in the pool under the main falls!

Perfect spot to be at peace in nature. Easy trails, beautiful creek, great for kids. If you go past falls you can do a loop. Love it.
