Sweet little trail - great for young kids or those wanting a nice easy hike. Great view of the lake from the lookout and a fun area for picnicking. My four year old easily walked the whole trail (which you could easily loop twice) and wanted to hang out for snacks at the picnic area afterward.

Trail was really nice. Loved the view. Nice little area in the beginning to hang out and have a fire. On the trail I did see dogs without owners, pretty sure the came from one of the houses back there but they weren’t aggressive. Other than that it was great.

There are many trails in this area I completed Butterfield lake and eagle marsh. Butterfield lake is easy and flat. Eagle Marsh is a lot of up and down both great trails I completed with 3 children they were all capable of doing them. Eagle Marsh was a little more difficult for them to complete.

Seven oaks trail. Lots of stops to maintain social distancing and let others pass. Many dogs being walked. Beautiful views.

An easy walk for any season! Great view over the lake, stand of big old oaks, and the new classroom all make for nice features. It can be tricky when waterlogged.
