The start of the trail is absolutely gorgeous and follows a stream/river. We went over halfway mountain and diamond mountain and then went back on the trail around the lake. Trails were all well marked, and none were too overgrown. Part of the lake trail is a bit narrow and starting to become overgrown. Not too crowded with people, but getting pretty buggy.

We did a shorter loop about 2 miles. Great for kids to get out and enjoy!

Awesome trail, well worth the views and challenges. Fun off trail climbs and views too

We did counterclockwise this time. Beginning to the lake was pretty steep and very rocky but once we passed the lake, it got a lot easier to come back. The lake view was so serene and beautiful so worth the hike.

White/black trail is not marked well at all. Got lost about 4 times.

Worth the trip to see a beautiful lake and have a dip. Gorgeous view but watch out for rattle snake after miles of wild blueberry bushes!

Easy to go off trail in some areas. On a Sunday afternoon I was one of a few people between the lake and the car. Slightly muddy in some parts.
