Trail was fun. Steep on the incline. Hopped over a few streams. Time at top was flat and a nice rest. Then a few more inclines. Not the best ever views but still nice, you can see NYC skyline. Overall a good hike. Like being secluded in nature for the most part.

Some steep accents and descents including Panther Mountain and Hawk Cliff, with a few great views from the peaks. Will try again but counterclockwise

The trail is awesome. Great views and unforgettable moments are guaranteed. A lot of streams crossing which makes the trail challenging. On the downside: a lot of bugs, muddy and slippery. One must wear appropriate footwear. Definitely will revisit in the fall.

Attempted to hike yesterday. The equestrian center has a sign out front that states that the center is closed and parking is closed to hikers. We attempted to park anyway and asked someone at the center regarding whether we could hike and were told "Can't you read the sign?" Fair point. There was no other parking that we could find for the trail without worrying about the car getting ticketed or towed so we had to drive 20 minutes back around Harriman State Park to find another trail.

Steep to start then pretty flat from there, if rocky. Great views and a few idyllic stop offs.

Decent trail , rocky with decent elevation ascent . Best info I can offer is take the red square trail that starts behind the stables and stay on it all the way to lake (counter clockwise ) where you bear left to get on white trail to yellow blaze back to red which will complete this loop . Decent , nothing that exciting but worth the time .

Amazing trail. Well marked but had to find the trail head in the beginning. Passing the lake was nice and great views of the Hudson valley all the way to Manhattan. Went in the fall and had to cross a couple of streams. Will do it again. Did it with my girlfriend and she loved it too.
