There is no marked trail to Pigeon. Prior to the decline to County Line lake, we headed Dead South to the summit. Used GPS device and a compass to get us there! There is a tree w an orange tape marking the high point! Happy BushWhacking!! There is no cell service so don't rely on your phones map to get you there .

This was a fun trail! My hiking partner and I both agreed that it didn't really seem like a steep incline until we met another hiker coming down and he told us it was all incline from that point up. He was right! Well worth it though :)

Nice trail and some nice scenery on the way.
If hiking pigeon mountain as the app portrays you will have to bushwhack to the summit, but if only doing the county line lake trail you should be ok just stick to the blue markers.
