Nice little trail for a run. Good variety of fire road and natural single track. Put in 4 easy miles on jog with Mrs. We remarked on it as a perfect place to bring the kids next time. Reservoir would be ideal place to picnic, swim and go fishing. Very tranquil and close to the center of the village. We will be back to see you again...

We took our bikes through here. Great for bike rides. Some trails are easier for beginners while others will cause the beginner to walk. There are points of fallen trees where expert bike skills will be able to jump but others will need to walk over. Make sure to make it to the dam. Very enjoyable bike outing!

Pleasant and easy- nice and flat. Mostly wooded but nice views of the lake. Keep an eye on the GPS- there are many intersecting trails and they are not well marked.

Nice short trail with beautiful views of the lake if you follow signs for other trails. Just watch what trail you are actually walking on. There are many on the peninsula.

My wife and I went for a Nordic ski in late March and it was a blast. The trails are scenic and easy to maneuver, and have a good mix of easy and challenging skiing. We will definitely do this trail again!

fun, easy to get to behind the old Howard Johnson. The trail follows the shore of lake placid which many don't get to see unless your lucky enough. The reservoir is really pretty.

Great for little kids. I had a 4yo walker and 2yo on my back (most of the way). Easy to cut the hike short after walking by the water by following signs back to the parking lot.

I went hiking here with my husband and dog and we loved it! We hiked Mt. Baker the day before and wanted something flat this time lol. This was a very easy hike, but beautiful nonetheless. We had lovely views walking past the lake and our dog loved playing in the water! Some of the smaller rocks on the trail were slippery but other than that we really enjoyed it.

parts of this may be fine diet mountain biking, but I'd say not worth it.awesome trails nearby for that. some of the trails are just in passable on a bike because of rocks and giant foods. nice walk out to lake placid though. this is up behind the old Howard Johnson's
