A good trail, but there is no parking where its beginning. In addition, you must follow a regular road instead of a trail. But the views are nice

Great little day out. This isn’t really a hike but more of a shoreline walk. Really enjoyable scenery with plenty of wildlife. Tons of beach-wood. Good for the whole family. Only complaint would be the lack of markings to the path that allows you to return to the south side for the north. A lot of marsh prevents a full walk around. There is a path with a small sign. That sign is easily missed. The bugs on this short path between marsh land can be brutal. Beware and walk fast.

This is not a hike. It's a bike or car ride, or a walk or run. There's a 5 mile in and out road. A pavilion, grills, beach. Lots of waterfowl, deer, turtles, osprey... I whole lot of stuff with easy access for families. Unfortunately the park got hit hard by Sandy. It just opened up again today. Lots of cedar trees and pine got burned up as well as lots of flood damage that has been cleaned up. Great spot for easy access fun

Good family oriented park. Easy walk. Beachfront & dunes. Good break from swimming. Can be crowded.
