Old Putnam Trail is a 5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near New York City, New York that offers scenic views. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking, walking, road biking, and mountain biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The Putnam Greenway is closed for construction work until the Summer of 2020. They are surfacing it from the south end of the lake to the northern end of the park.

Old Putnam trail is closed as of right now.. (11/2/19) but still plenty to explore in and out of the main pathway

Dirt trail but not muddy at all (it hadn’t rain recently when I was there). The trail is bikeable but recommend a mountain or hybrid bike.

Okay trail that is a very easy hike. Not much is labeled so it's hard to tell where you are.
