Old Erie Canal (DeWitt to Canastota) Trail is a 15.5 mile out and back trail located near Fayetteville, New York that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The section east of Green Lakes State Park is unpaved and better for running. Parking is just across the road from the trail access, before the ticket entrance to Green Lakes State Park.

Like the trail for riding, except for partially gravel be awesome if the pave it,make for a smoother ride. Other than that great trail to ride, did 20 miles.
