North by Northwest Trail is a 2.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Berlin, New York that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. There is a much better trail map on the Capital District Wildlife Management Area's Web site: http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/wildlife_pdf/capdistrictmap.pdf

The trail offers no view, but there are a lot of great rock features, lots of birds to listen to, and variety in the hike (including a few tricky spots and lots of fallen leaves and the like, but nothing unmanageable). The trail is very well marked.
