This is a great place to kayak during the summer. one of my favorite places! It’s a decent length, I believe about 5-7 miles. I visited back in April 2016. The people who set you up are pretty friendly and help get you set up so that you feel comfortable. It’s definitely worth checking out.

This is my favorite local place to kayak, doesn't matter which way the tide is running, its always fun and a good workout paddling against the tide. The birds, scenery, seems like I'm somewhere else, Remember to be safe and practice caution, almost every year someone underestimates the tide and looses their life.

Great tidal river with nice views. If you start at the South end you can have a picnic on the beach.

Good trout fishing. Nice Fly fishing & hiking closer to the park south of Rte 25 to White's Pool. Good place for a kid to try for a trout. Nice park to spend an afternoon picnicking with the kids since it was redone. Canoe rentals nearby. Check local info for rates.
