The National Shrine of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha features nature trails leading to a 17th-century Mohawk (Kanienkehaka) village archaeological site, Native American exhibits, picnic area, and a Catholic chapel housed in an 18th-century Dutch barn. The Kanienkehaka village site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The trails lead through various forest communities and a 10-acre meadow. Many species of plants and animals abound.

Good hike to do with kids. The trails are clearly marked. My son loved it and had a good time.

The Shrine itself is a beautiful place and well-kept. The first part of the trail is all uphill, somewhat steep in spots, there are a couple of benches on the way up, as well as one on top to rest on. Looks like they were made by the Boy Scouts. When you get to the top, you can either head back down or cross Hickory Hill Road to go to the old village and/or the spring. That part of the trail is all flat. They're nice trails, a little wet in spots, but they have planking in those areas. Overall, nice trails, they're well marked and easy to follow. Just a little note: some of my pics attached to this trail are from one of the hikes here where I linked up to the Rail Trail, which is now temporarily closed.

beautiful day for a hike with the dog. I would consider this trail to be easy myself. beautiful scenery. a little incline until you get to the road ahead then it's all pretty much level ending up with a downhill walk. I think it's about a mile total. very peaceful.

This is a beginners easy trail that will take a half hour if that. Nice area easily marked trail, loaded with ticks.

Simple, Short. Good for elders and children. Loads of ticks really hard to figure out where the trail is
