This trail is misleading and incorrect the last leg of it goes through a private driveway

This is quite misleading as the map showing the trail is in fact not anywhere near the real Nappeague trail which is in the directions.

11.28.19. A good, and pretty easy, hike. Park in the Montauk Market lot and follow the yellow circular blazes where the trail starts over the road. These trail markers are very visible and plentiful. The first (and last) half mile does not start out with much promise, as one has pick one's way between a bunch of back yards, but the trail soon becomes wilder, passing through a lot of woodland. The last half mile or so of the outbound part of this trail opens up and passes through scrub/grassland that is teeming with birds.
