Great!

I've done this firetower more times than I care to admit...great little walk through the woods with small incline. The view from the firetower is beautiful. Great any time of year.

Excellent view from the fire tower! Lavender & Orange trails offer a little more to see in addition to the yellow. Very well marked. Saw a beautiful owl that flew and stopped right in front of us for a photo op!

HikingBugsGreat!

Great trail, clear, well marked. Ages 9 - 70 plus a dog. Made it to the top of the Fire Tower. there are a lot of other trails there that seem worth the ride back to check out. The terrain was mild with several inclined areas. Picnic areas if you bring a lunch. Free parking with plenty of spots. A little hot and little buggy but mainly due to humidity. Climbed the tower, tough but worth the views.

This is a nice trail through the woods that's well marked. There are some steep inclines, but overall the trail is easy.

Not very long but it’s a nice view. The trail isn’t very clear and I went the wrong way.

Nice trail and the view from the fire tower is very nice. Don't climb if you get dizzy - really tall. There is a trick to finding your way back to the parking lot. When you see the sign that says private property and there is a sign to take the circle loop you need to backtrack a little and look to the right for a hidden sign that says "Circle". Otherwise you hit a dead end. We saw two groups that didn't know how to get back.

Great, albeit short, hike to a very tall fire tower with commanding views of the mid-Hudson Valley. Great diversion if you'd rather be in nature than the village of Rhinebeck. Good views to Mid Hudson Bridge and the Catskill Mountains.

if you are looking for a nice easy trail that you can have a conversation with the people you are hiking with. this trail is perfect. also perfect for couples. there is a new pavilion at the pond and lean-to's throughout the trails. all great spot to have a chat and bite to eat. and don't forget the bonus of the firetower that gives you a nice 360 view, the Hudson River and Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge. if you just want to see the tower go to you right. went to your left checking out a few ponds and venture on other trails to extend our hike. this would be perfect trail to do with your out of town friends that normally wouldn't hike.
