Mt. Arab is a short 0.7 mile scenic hike in the Adirondacks on a nice moderate trail. There is also a fire tower at the top that provides excellent views. Mt Arab has been a very popular and accessible hiking destination for generations because of the spectacular views from the fire tower. You can view Tupper Lake and Mount Morris to the southeast, the Adirondack High Peaks to the east, The Raquette River valley to the north, Horseshoe Lake Wild Forest to the southwest, and Mt Arab Lake and Eagle Crag Lake to the west. Nice easy 2mile RT hike that is great for the kids.

Great quick trail! My first time hiking this! Due to weather it was pretty snowy at top in the am and the view was mild. A little icy too!

A fun short hike to a renovated fire tower and cabin. Unfortunately there was over cast, so I got no views because of the mist. The fire tower was closed as well to encourage social distancing.

Excellent snowshoe trail. Expect to climb from the moment you hit the trail. Doesn't flatten out until about .7 miles in and then for only about .1 mile. We had excellent sunny view from the lookout area but fire tower too icey to safely climb. Brought Jetta Bear Dog and ticked off number 2 in the canine winter triad.

Decent amount of snow on the trail. About a foot deep at some points so I recommend bringing boots with spikes or snowshoes. Other than that, beautiful conditions.

For such a short hike seemed to take us a excessive amount of time to get to the summit, most likely because of the foot and half of fresh snow that had recently fallen. Snow and clouds at top so no view today
