Beautiful area unfortunately the trail closes in august for hiking and biking.

It's such a great drive through, depending the time of day and weather there are many kinds of birds to see along with ducks and many more critters!

Nice drive through the refuge...took me about an hour (driving slowly and making short stops). I didn't see much but that doesn't mean anything. With a little patience you could get some great bird photos.

Great walk with my kiddos! Saw some fantastic wildlife!! You can see something different every season which is really cool. My aunt (an environmental biologist) says spring is the best time! We sure enjoyed it!
