beautiful state park that is funded by the NY power authority making entry free. The hiking is pleasant but not particularly challenging. if you don't hike up to the visitors center make sure you drive there after hiking. It's very interesting. The comments about hiking on the bridge and trail marking around the pool and sport fields are true but not the end of the world . Make sure you go to the falls overlook. If you do not want to walk across the Rte 30 roadway you can drive there.

nice trail. mossy and some
rivers as well as steep inclines. i wouldn't recommend continuing to the other overlook across the bridge because it requires walking along the highway at a dangerous turn in the road. cars go really fast. but otherwise really beautiful hike!

didn't see waterfall, poorly marked trail once you reach the golf sections - the trail simply disappears without any signs. finally saw signs for the waterfall trail when we were on our way out of the park. the marked trail from the main alltrails website is either nonexistent or poorly maintained.

Went on MDW weekend, it was very peaceful, trail was moderate , it was a bit challenging traveling to the top of the waterfall area. Crossing creeks and traversing up to the top. Totally worth the view at the top of falls and later walking down to the bottom
