Really nice trail with a few different cool views of the water fall and river. Starts out a little overgrown but most of the trail is pretty wide and clear. A few short uphill parts but mostly easy hike. Good for kids and dogs but watch out for barbed wire and steep drop offs.

Went a few weeks ago with my 6 year old. We wanted to hike and randomly ended up at Mine Kill State Park because of the waterfalls. We started in the yellow loop and ended up wandering onto the red and then the orange to both waterfalls. Don’t know how people get to the bottom of the big falls, because we viewed them from a path up above before turning back around. I packed water and snacks in my backpack, and my Garmin watch said we did about 5 miles. There were a few steeper sections that had my kid working pretty hard, but we had a blast.

Very easy path with beautiful payoff. Take the lower path to walk over to bottom of falls. Then walk around bridge to walk down. For a more fun trip.

Decent walk. The trail was weirdly marked, but otherwise easy to follow. Muddy at points. The falls were cool, and we skipped some stones while there.

Great day hike. Well beaten path but plenty of little paths to take off the main trails. Gorgeous waterfall

We had a blast. Was steep in some places but around the stream was leisurely. The highlight for me (except the falls of course) was the off trail short cuts we took across the fallen trees that bridged the stream. Made this adventure 100% fun. There were many bugs and alot of mud so be prepared for that, but my six year old toughed it out like a champ.

A few muddy spots, over looking the falls on the teal trail is beautiful, we hiked in from inside the park, red trail to orange, to teal. Hiking down the teal trail to the bottom of the falls is worth it, wasn't too crowded.

Nice trail for an afternoon hike. The falls are always a delight to see. Be sure to check yourself and pets for any ticks afterwards.

The trail is mostly wooded with plenty of shade. The trail was well kept with few rocky areas, great for an afternoon hike.

Was a nice place, we chose the yellow trail- which was a mistake. Will go back to try the red trail. Some of the gates closed early so finding a parking spot (& escape route) may be something to consider

Pretty in places but there are a lot of cross trails. Some of the trails don’t match up with the AllTrails app either. I managed it easily enough by turning around in several places. But otherwise it was a relatively easy trail with lots of very pretty trees with the fall colors just starting.

Tough finding trail head. Once we did it was a nice moderate walk to beautiful falls. I’d say the walk was confusing. Luckily we followed all trails map or we would have been lost.

Do not believe this is a trail for toddlers and small kids. It’s a beautiful hike that’s about 2hrs if you do not go to the bottom.

4 mile loop. the falls were nice. perfect day for a hike. the park was very empty for a summer day though. they still maintain the main trails. if you do happen off the beaten path like I do. bring bug spray and an extra pair of shoes and socks. you'll get wet.

Not a bad hike. It's a little funny to find the trailhead through the campground but just follow the blue dots. nice route along the water at times.
