Short and easy hike to the lake. Nice views and a good place to swim after hiking Ampersand. Lots of mosquitoes though.

Very easy walk through the woods. Absolutely no bugs. Once you get down to the beach it’s a beautiful sandy beach perfect for an afternoon picnic.

A great midpoint on the Saranac chain. Try to camp at Weller Pond. Hiking is available to Ampersand mtn. Enjoy the locks into Lower Saranac lake. Watch for wind on this lake.
