Excellent trail showcasing a piece of several trails in the park. Use your map! ;)

Nice stroll through all the scenery the park has to offer, not least the elevations — an East Esker mini of you will. Waterproof footwear with good traction recommended. A sense of adventure would help too since the route here includes a couple lottery turns — missed a big one near the end, that (me wanting to stay true to the route) forced an uphill backtrack. Better trail markers and a clearer description or waypoints would certainly benefit first-timers. Overall a fun route, but needs better trail markers to earn 5 stars!

Pretty cool trail. If this is your first time I strongly suggest using the All Trails map with GPS enabled. To do the loop you switch trails (blue to pink to grey) and there are 2 places where you will miss a turn off without seeing it. Definitely be doing this one again.

This trail was not marked well and after consulting a map, gps and back tracking; I ended up on the brown trail...then the orange trail. Grass path was pretty high and bugs unrelenting.

A nice trail to practice distance hiking on. Can get hot because a good part of the trail is right next to the pond and you can feel the heat. There is also a part in the full sun. But we’ve done this trail multiple times and have always enjoyed it. The fairy houses towards the end are really cool as well.

Yeah, it's poorly marked but the right direction isn't too hard to figure out. It was cool walking across a landscape sculpted by glaciers!

It seemed to be poorly marked.

Weather has been up and down this week, cold today so the trail had everything: ice, hard pack, snow, mud. On its own, the trail has it all: grassland, peaks, uphill, downhill, swamp, narrow and wide paths. Perfect for everyone including a novice such as myself and my twin 5 year olds.
