Very wooded no signs and dead end trails. Beautiful views but lots of traffic noise.

Great ride! Very scenic and challenging in spots. I consider this my "home trail" and bike it quite often. Mostly ride south from the southern end of Bethpage Bikeway, over the Southern State Parkway bridge, cross Linden Street and head into the Massapequa preserve. Once across Sunrise Hwy., proceed south through the preserve to Merrick Road and across to Alhambra Road and proceed south to Alhambra Beach. Also check out the 'hidden' unpaved and peaceful stretch of bike path between Clark Blvd. and Linden Street on the west side of the creek. Always such an enjoyable ride! Truly one of my favorite trails year round!
