Best viewing from the blue-blazed section of the Finger Lakes Trail. 1.2mi round trip. There is a steep, strenuous 500 foot climb. Open year round, though use extreme caution during winter. Closes periodically for hunting.

The Allltrails app will put you into the parking off of Danby Road. Note; Robert Treman Park is just down the road to the left. The trail is just to the right of the parking area and it not marked until further into the woods. Stay to the right, then cross the bridge, then another right after the bridge you will go few hundred feet and then a left I. Cross the dry creek bed f you want to view the falls. It is uphill most of the way and has a few switchbacks making the assent easier. We followed the blue blazes most of the hike. The falls were quite dry today but scenic still with the trickle of water that was dancing down the rocks. We would like to visit the falls when there is more water flowing.

Hiked this gorge several time a month every month . It is a beautiful hike in all seasons. I have photos and videos for all seasons. The recently added steps make the blue trail easier but it still is a workout. Depending on the season and the rainfall the falls can be gushing or trickling. Snow and ice in the winter provide a spectacular setting. Start the hike at the Town Line Road parking area.

We started at the bottom trail head but there is a trail head above the falls. Very pretty trail. It is not well marked. The blue trail is steep but goes along with the white trail which is an alternate but goes to the same place. The waterfalls are lovely. it is a small creek so dont expect a lot of water.

Nice short trail if you are in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for this hike though. We have stopped 2x while we were in the area. Both times there was only a small trickle.

This was a long steady hike up hill we took a lot of short brakes on the blue trail, and coming back down we took the white trail seemed a bit easier. My knees were starting to really feel it so when we hit steep spots I would walk backwards and that saved me, a beautiful hike and we’ll try it again when there’s more water for the falls and many cascades. It will be a 5 star hike for sure. P.S. theirs a water crossing under the train trestle, and possibly more if theres wet weather we took our shoes off to cross.

Beautiful falls, all the hikers we encountered were very friendly!

A less frequently used trail and for good reason. The elevation gain up the hill from the waterfall is substantial and the grade very steep. It is a workout even for those in good condition, but well rewarded. Once at the top it becomes a trail of gentle ups and downs always close to the brook, and almost entirely in the woods. If you go to the Blue trail it takes you back on the other side of water before rejoining the main trail. Plan on an hour and a half and when descending I suggest taking the white trail to the right. It brings you to waterfall but meanders through the woods and across many streams and a lovely ridge view.

I’ve been here many years ago and have forgotten how beautiful it is. Great hike to get the heart pumping.

Tougher/steeper hike than expected. Many of the falls were dried up, but the lowest point had a nice area of water to romp around in. Good exercise on the ascent back up. Have some nice ledges to sit on looking down into the gorges.

Relatively short trail with great views. Dog-friendly. A few nice ledges overlooking the water to rest on if necessary. Take the time to stop and play in the water at the bottom!

Once you find it, it's a nice hidden gem! Fairly steep incline on the way out but shady enough that it's not too bad. Many picturesque spots to stop and just appreciate if you need little breaks.

Nice trail though no water this time. Part is closed for hunting season but can easily be rerouted. Going to come back and check out in the winter I bet it is awesome all 4 seasons.

Excellent undisturbed hike - no man made barriers. Numerous waterfalls (two large falls) with a lot of character. there is quite an elevation change, mostly the bottom third of the trail.

Amazing! My new favorite spot. It is VERY steep though, I'm 23 and athletic and I would say it's more like a cliff than steep hill haha.
