Beautiful trail with a lot of great views! Made the mistake of arriving too early and waited 2 hours for the park to open. The Awosting falls were huge and only about .75 miles from the lower parking lot. Wear proper footwear because you will need to walk through a creek. When approaching Gertrude's nose, the major question asked was "Is this the nose?" Many other groups on the trail asked the same question. Overall beautiful views and a great workout. I completed the full trail in my five finger vibrams.

This hike was long! Super enjoyable and the amount of epic views seemed endless. Be ready to trek it bc this isn't a short hike but very worth it! OH and get there early it gets crowded!

This was a beautiful hike, with plenty of overlooks and places to stop and enjoy the scenery. The hike itself is a long one, but the trail has many different sections so it's not all the same, which is great to mix it up. We went in early October, so the views were absolutely gorgeous, with the trees being at their peak. This is definitely a more moderate-hard hike, but is not too difficult at all. Would for sure go back again!

Good hike but it was too long ... lots of nice spot for pictures. Some rocky short uphill trails otherwise mostly shaded path . Not advisable for kids and small dogs .

HikingGreat!

It was a good hike but it is so long. The trail is rocky af - I am not even kidding. Your ankles are going to hurt! Views are wonderful! Get there quick. Be there by 9am sharp. Otherwise, you have to wait in the line for more than aa hour. I was there around 10:30am and got in at 12:10pm.

Very easy hike. Mostly flat. Getting off nose going onto millbrook you get some good scrambles. The millbrook part of the loop is up and down and rocky. Great for confident beginners. Took about four hours. Will do again.
