Lovely little spot, as a Canadian coming from Montreal this path is closer to me than some of the trails up north. Pretty flat, nice views, saw 3 snakes, a hare and a red fox. Just a nice time overall

Been here many times... Nice hike today. With the Winter that we've had and the popularity of the trails for walkers and Ice Fishermen, microspikes are pretty much a must right now (1/30/18).

We love this trail, and it's great for younger kids. It's great for a nice and easy walk with plenty of views of Lake Champlain.
We have hiked all of these trails at Point Au Roche, and a few trails and mountains elsewhere. Point Au Roche, however seems to be the only place where I've come home with ticks. Spray yourself and use permethrin in clothing if you'd like to spend a day on the Point Au Roche trails.

a well-kept secret of Champlain Valley-- 12 miles of very quiet, scenic and secluded hiking trails overlooking Lake Champlain. Offers swimming, hiking, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing and biking. Great for kids and animal friendly.
