This is not my favorite trail. It’s not really in the woods and there isn’t much sun cover. Stony kill falls is beautiful and so is the lake. The wolf jaw connection is poorly marked to enter and then once you’re in it’s poorly marked to follow. Without gps and the map I would not have known what to follow. But hey, there’s a lot to appreciate about the lake. It’s warm (relatively) and you can catch the occasional nudist. The stony kill falls were the highlight of the hike.

Long but flat woods road most of the way up. Didn't go further up than Lake Awosting, but swung by Rainbow Falls. Views from the top are great.

Harder than moderate

I think it's funny people have rated this a moderate trail, seems a little bit more than that. ultimately, it was wonderful but based on the time of year very buggy and humid. The refreshing views made it a peaceful escape.

Really simple trail but the waterfall is pretty. You're not supposed to swim but a few people do it anyway and I'd personally recommend it.

Quite a simple hike, but the waterfall is a nice experience. Unfortunately you cannot swim in the water but you can sit on the rocks and enjoy a nice snack. We also did the hike to the lake. It is not worth it unless you get there early. The beach is very small and there is no food allowed.

Did a winter hike up to the lake and back. A steady climb to the lake. Until you get about 3/4 to the lake, uninteresting wide access road. Then it turns into a trail with rock walls, a stream and mountain laurel
Might be ok for a mt bike ride to the lake.. in the summer. Otherwise, I won't take that route again.

some nice overlooks, but mostly walking through densely wooded areas. not sure I would do it again...I love a nice long hike, but I need some amazing views to make it worth it. these views on these trail were nice, but nothing amazing.
