What a beautiful day! This trail is so remote and amazing. We didn’t see one person today. I wish puffer pond wasn’t so muddy, I would have loved to swim. We definitely recommend this as a day trip! Took us 3 hours and 20 minutes — we hung out at the pond for about 30 minutes. It rained heavily at one point on our hike, but it was splendid. Bugs were present but not too bad.

Great, easy hike! The pond is fantastic and definitely worth the trip! The trail isn’t well maintained. One section is buggy and there is poison ivy. But everything is great!
