Great trail, amazing views of the falls but do not attempt lower falls without spikes and poles, steps are icy snow. With proper foot spikes it’s amazing!!

Be very careful if you don’t have crampons and poles don’t go down to the base of the falls!!! Heavy ice, but with the right equipment it is so beautiful

12.22.2019 - ended up doing the trail starting from Laurel House Road parking area. Trail to the waterfall viewing deck was quick and safe to do with hiking boots alone. However, you will definitely need micro spikes to do the falls trail as conditions are icy and snowy going down on the path and stairs. Don’t risk your safety. It’s definitely a winter wonderland down there so enjoy it fully with proper foot gear.

Views are gorgeous....but the dogsso many dogs....dog watcher heaven!

Hiked in the rain so it was slippery. The climb to the top was worth it. Make sure you hike to the back of the falls. The water falling overhead and the views of the mountains are sweet!

This is a very beautiful waterfall and well worth the hike to the bottom of the falls.

Great view. Not a long hike. The stone stairs make for a decent leg workout. I would definitely recommend this place. It was busy when we went but the view was awesome.

My wife and I came up for a quick 2.6 miles hike and wow with going down the bottom of the falls and back up what a calorie burn. We can up the trail out from the waterfall and took the extra 1 mile round trip to the monument got us real tired but made it back for a power bar and a electrolyte cocktail. Enjoy it the views are really good.

from the same parking lot and as you can tell from the map there is a very short easy .03 of mile trail with a gentle slop. this part of the trail system was but in for people that are handicap and the trail is wheelchair accessible. some parts of the slop can be a little fast so you maybe want to make sure you have a person along with you that is strong enough to help. so, if you have a family member or friend with a disability or handicap don't pass up this wonderful opportunity to enjoy god's creation together. their smiles are worth the trip.

Beautiful views and very easy trail. The decent to the falls wasn’t too bad. Coming back can get a little tiring but it was not bad at all. Too many people though.
