A good shorter hike. Kid-friendly. The views from the fire tower are quite nice. There is an old abandoned cabin on site.

Went with a few friends and, from all the recent rain, the direct .5 mil trail was completely washed out. It basically became a little brook the whole time. Since it was so muddy, the steep trail was pretty hard. My group decided to take the 1.2 mil trail back down. The view from the watch tower is pretty incredible but if you're scared of heights, skip this hike. You can only get a good view from the fire tower, which is REALLY high up.

Great views from the tower. Had a big group of beer drinkers swearing up a storm and talking about collecting their child support...but everyone else was nice.

Pretty easy hike that I completed with an 8 month old on my back. Views from the tower are great. Nice day hike for anyone wishing to take their kids!

Great trail for kids! Unfortunately the day we went there were some people with loud music that ruined some of the peace.

went yesterday with my family. it was cloudy so the view from the top was crummy. the hike is short and beautiful. both trails are pretty steep in places. well worth it!

Nice short hike with great views. As of 16-April there isn't any snow/ice but it is a little muddy. We took the red marked trail up and yellow down. Parking lot is in rough shape, if you have high clearance you'll be fine otherwise park out on the road. We also hiked the Stewart/Indian lakes trail after Kane which was well worth it.

It was a bit muddy due to the path mostly being on mountain springs.
