As of 5/17/2020 no snow or ice on route. Some areas of the trail were still muddy, but a lot of the mud can be walked around if you're paying attention. We decided to take this route backwards due to the waterfall being closed and the parking lot being coned off. The route was a lot of fun, we clocked it at about 7 hours with a stop at North Point, lunch at North-South Lake and a couple of 5 minute breaks at sights around Boulder Rock. Would recommend bringing a map. At a couple of junctions we nearly took turns that may have lead us more directly to the car, but would have avoided a couple of fun, interesting views. Definitely worth your time if you're still getting out in the quarentine. The view from North Point was my favorite!

Falls are closed, nearby parking open. 2nd time doing this trail - great views.

Beautiful hike. Closed roads so you may have to hike an extra 2 miles or so to get to trailheads. Just rained so bit muddy. Lots of beautiful runoff waterfalls. Awesome views. Some snow on top. Dress warm and be prepared for wetness.

From the south there was minimal/no snow and trail was easy to follow. We went up via the north and the top section was a sheet of steepish ice. Even in crampons it was scary. I don’t own an ice axe but would have benefited from one. Do it from the south if you’re there in next few weeks.

Did this hike in reverse and added Stoppel point. Left the car at 7am. The path was fairly well stamped out. Great to get to north point about an hour after sunrise. From there a fresh blanket of snow (1-2 inches) was covering the tracks. A few 5-8 inch drifts. Very enjoyable on the way back to the junction below north point. Newman's ledge was my favorite of all the views along the descent from north point.

Trails well marked, but map was poor. We did not complete the whole trail as we took our 2 kids, ages 9 & 7, each did it no problem. Hiked about 3 miles ...took a little over 3 hours. Definitely need hiking shoes. Great views and scenery. Very Rocky, especially at Mary's Glen.

Wonderful hike. Awesome views.

Nice trail that isn't too hard to follow. The only exception was the peak of South Mountain which was not kept or marked. We did it clockwise to end with the falls - in free end we cut off a bunch following the Scutt Road trail as we'd had enough.

Great hike today. Trail is a little confusing so recommend stop at park station to get map, otherwise u may not end up where u want or lots of backtracking. Very rocky so also bring hiking shoes. Bugs were not bad at all!

Beautiful and fun trail! We did it practically in one day (came in late the day before and walked one mile before setting camp). The views are great and the trails were practicable. There was very minor rock scrambling at times, but perfect as an introductory hike.

Beautiful trail, would recommend. Just be advised that it took us way longer than anticipated. Usually we take less time than advertised for a trail, but we took 6,5 hours to complete the loop. If you leave the parking lot in the back, you end with the waterfalls as a beautiful finale.
