Great scenic ride and a relief from riding in traffic around the surrounding neighborhoods.

Things to keep in mind.

This is the beach and wind is always a big factor. Riding into a strong wind can be tough.

There are 3 bridges to cross where the path narrows considerably. With walkers and slow bikers, crossing those bridges can seem like torture it's so slow.

During the warm weather and on weekends the trail can be very crowded and avoiding other bikers, walkers, runners and roller bladers can seem like a full time job.

Best time to go is very early and on weekdays. Then the ride is a real pleasure!

Great trail, only issue was heavy headwinds made the ride a little more difficult. I really liked the views.

Great relaxing ride along the Ocean Parkway can be a bit crowed at times but still a good ride with great scenery. it is $10 dollars to park in the Cedar Creek Park parking lot if you are not a resident. The trail begins at Cedar Creek Park and it ends at Jones Beach it is a bit less than 9 miles long which allows plenty of time go and enjoy the beach before heading back to the car.

Great bike path for all ages. Newly renovated at the end of path. Bike path goes straight to beach. Great!
