Short hike through a beautiful forest. If you are lucky enough to catch this trail after rain there is a nice waterfall.

We caught a very warm Labor Day hike. Found a cool walking stick at the entrance gate (thank you to whoever left it). The canopy cover offered some protection from the sun and the bugs weren’t too bad. Some muddy spots on the trail but nothing that couldn’t be sidestepped. We were disappointed to see the waterfall reduced to a trickle, but it was still pretty impressive to see. Overall an easy hike (not moderate). My six year old daughter led the way as usual (part mountain goat). A fun outing but maybe wait till fall.

Nice trail, water fall was quite beautiful, trail was partially marked, not necessarily a loop, but still nice hike!
