Trail started off overgrown and with no trail markers. Follow the state park border signs at the beginning and you'll get to the trail.

The entrance to Jacobs ladder trail is very hard to find but once on it you'll have silver metal trail markers guiding you. That being said, this trail is extremely over grown and the markers were very hard to find and in some cases they had fallen off completely. Be sure to bring a compass and a machete for this part!

Once you get to the top of scramble you'll be rewarded with a great view. From there you have a bunch of rock markers to guide you and then the rest is a breeze.

I definitely recommend this hike because of the amazing wildlife we ran into.
