Lovely relaxing wide trail, however extremely buggy. Well marked. The area around the lake has swarms of mosquitoes and other bugs. Other areas of the trail are not as bad. The parking is limited at the trail head.

You start by walking through a meadow but then quickly transition into pretty woods. The ascent is nice and the section that goes by the lake is nice, especially the little side trail to a lookout over the lake, but the rest of the trail was somewhat boring and no views at the summits. No bugs on the day I hiked.
