Great hike, don’t skip Boulder Rock. We also liked looking around the old Kasterskill Hotel site, which is a small loop.

Picked this up as part of a much longer hike. Hit the falls, inspiration point southern mountain, Boulder the lakes and the Mountain House. The park was closed for C-19 but we were able to walk in only parts of the trail are restricted. No big deal for the trade off of having this popular spot all to ourselves!!

Had the best day on this trail. We did a much bigger hike but picked this one up on the way. The park was closed for Covid but we parked and walked in. No one for miles and miles. We hit inspiration point, the falls, south mountain, boulder rock, catskill mountain house site and south lake. So many types of terrain, so many beautiful views and again, the best part we had the place to our selves. We passed one other small group in the 5 hours we were there. Only advise, I wore my lighter spring summer trail shoes, some portions are way too muddy I highly suggest proper grip boots.

Great trail if you get an early start, nice views, a little muddy. Not too much of an elevation gain, great for my friend. I prefer straight up hikes. Lol. Very populated the later in it got. We hiked from 10-12:30 and it was very serene on the way out, heavily populated on the way back.

Excellent hiking with amazing views. Gorgeous valleys with peak fall foliage colors. Kaaterskill waterfall was definitely worth the effort to see from the upper, mid-point and lower views. We completed the hike as shown on the trail map except that we did not to the hike out to Bastion falls, which resulted in a hike about 2 miles longer that stated. Can’t wait to do this one again in the spring.

Nice hike that’s fairly easy most of the time. The first climb at the beginning is the most rocky, but it doesn’t last long.

Très belle randonnée, très facile. J’étais avec mon garçon de 10 ans et il n’était pas épuisé du tout. Belle vue au sommet.
