For hours/information on visiting: http://www.innisfreegarden.org/ This 150 acre garden has streams, waterfalls, terraces, retaining walls, rocks and plants based on principles of Chinese landscape design. Most of the plants are native. Visitors can also explore Tyrrel lake a deep glacial lake from which water is pumped into a hillside reservoir to be used in the garden's water features.

A true gem. I don't know why this isn't more highly rated/more reviewed. It isn't really a hike, but rather a walk through beautifully manicured gardens. Highly recommend. (Make sure it's open before you drive out there. It's only open some days).

A lovely place to take a stroll around the gorgeous gardens...trail follows the shore of Tyrrel Lake and there are a few side trails that pop into the woods. Saw tons of birds and turtles so bring your binoculars. Many places to picnic and meditate...Innisfree is a hidden gem!!
