We did this little trail in late October, prior to a hard freeze and the annual closure of the trail. The waterfalls were not flowing a ton, but pretty views as usual. Fun and beautiful. Good for kids and very easy.

We parked at the Glen Doone parking lot and walked to the Escarpment Trail from there, taking the Indian Ladder Trail on our way out, then sticking to the Escarpment Trail on the way back (the Indian Ladder Trail is one-way going from south-east to north-west). The view is awesome and pretty much constant, and some portions of the trail (especially the Indian Ladder part) feel like you're fully in the woods/nature, but for large portion of this hike you are walking through or right next to the parking lots in the area, so it doesn't feel like true hiking.

There is a reason this trail is always crowded. One of the most beautiful and unique trails the area. Wear your masks but today wasn’t so crowded.

Beautiful trail with lots of views and rock formations. Lots of stairs up and down, but well worth it. Waterfall was a dribble, cannot wait to go back when it’s running..
