great trail! there's an offshoot called the fairy house trail which is so charming! but it just keeps going deeper into the woods so I finally just turned around. not sure where it ends up. no problem with bugs as I was coated in deep woods off. didn't see many animals but heard a lot of birds.

love it. but people should know there are a crazy amount of poisonous plants easily accessible to children. Dolls eye, nightshade water hemlock, etc.

This trail is cute and easily manageable for anyone. There are a few places to sit if you need to. The trail is closed on Mondays for maintenance. About half way through there is an off trail called the Fairy house trail. This one is marked clearly with a red trail circle on a while diamond I am unsure how long that one is but it is pleasent and interesting to see all the Fairy houses people have made.

This is a very nice loop trail. Short but scenic. We briskly hiked around the trail 3 times.
