I did a multi day canoe trip to enjoy this beautiful area. I went from Hoel pond to Long pond and found an awesome camp site. There is a mountain off of Long pond that we enjoyed climbing as well.
We also came back in the winter and snowshoed the same trail over the ponds. Watch out for bubblers on the docks, and the running water once you get to the smaller ponds. We actually bushwacked our way on land till my snow show broke, breaking through the ice on one of the small ponds.

An amazingly beautiful area for all seasons of sports.
