I really enjoyed doing all the non-yellow side trails on a recent hike. After more than 6 miles, I was running out of time and did not feel like getting back to my car via one of the two Yellow Trails (2 miles or 2.5 miles) so I walked on Centerline Road for 9/10th of a mile on the gravel road. It was actually a nice little walk, and I was never passed by any cars. The lesser trafficked trails are so great, especially the Red Trail for some amazing, humongous trees and the Preserve's High Point marker and the Lower Blue Esker Trail where you really feel like you're walking along a ridge. For fun, I brought my Sawyer water filter and drank from the Cadman Creek just to be able to say I did.
