This is a beautiful little glen tucked in behind a small campground that is a hidden gem. Pay the $2 to park and stay to the left past the campgrounds until the road dead ends at the trailhead parking lot. It is an easy walk back to the falls with only a set of rigid steel stairs to climb. At the top of these steps the trail bend slightly to the left and from there you'll see the glen and the falls. Eagle Cliff Falls spills into the glen and is very photogenic. This is a great place for campers to cool off in the hot summer months. You won't get much hiking in, but you'll take a lot of pictures. Please note trail is only open from mid-May through mid-October.

HikingGreat!

Nice trail at the back of a great little park. Beautiful views of falling water all the way back to Eagle Cliff. The water was low enough that I was able to walk across some rocks to get behind the falls. Probably a great place to cool off on a hot summer day. ** Heads up to folks with their dogs... there are two flights of metal stairs... easy for a dog to climb but coming down can be tricky. I had my 50’ AmStaff with me and I had to use the handle on her harness to guide her down.

Short easy trail. Beautiful natural setting. Would have given a higher rating if it were not for the unruly teenagers

Plenty of water even with the drought, but I'd love to come back when the falls are fuller. No swimming due to COVID. We didn't see anyone the whole time we were on the trail. Well worth the $2 if you're going to picnic, swim, etc., not so much if you're just going to see the falls. We biked in, so we didn't have to park.

It was absolutely beautiful! We ended up having the waterfall to ourselves for about 10-15 minutes before we saw other people. Also a beautiful proposal happened!

Wonderful short trail. Once you get tot he falls it’s beautiful! The water is pretty low right now. Great path with lots of sights up the falls. Water was too cold to swim in.

This is one of my favorite spots in the area. I tend to go as early as possible and have most of the park to myself. It’s so peaceful and lovely. The walk isn’t hard at all - if you go during a crowded time just take your mask, most people are respectful. We were however there a few Sundays ago where a local church performed baptisms in the pool at the falls. About 80 people walked up at the same time, not one of them wearing a mask. Just be cautious.

what a great little watering hole. I went late on a weekday and if wasn't crowded at all. I can see this place being crowded on a weekend. only issue I had was cigerette butts stuck in the cracks of rocks. Don't understand why people can't just carry the garbage out with them.

Only moderate in that there are steps. It’s less than a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the falls. It was really awesome. I can see how it might be crowded, but you’ll be able to tell by how many cars in the parking lot. It’s not that small so with about 20 people there we we able to swim and not feel crowded. It’s a great swimming hole because there are areas where you can’t stand up it’s so deep. Highly recommend. We took our dog, but needed to carry him up the steps because he’s small and the steps are steep.

For a photo map, parking location, and a trail recording, go to https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/eagle-cliff-falls-4079016 Eagle Cliff Falls is located at Havana Glen Park. From the parking lot, it is only a ten minute (rather easy) walk alongside a very nice gorge, which has some small cascade waterfalls. At one point, you will make a sharp turn and you will see Eagle Cliff Falls plunging down about 50 feet into a large pool, perfect for swimming or walking in. The view is incredible! If you look just left of the falls, you will see an eagle carved naturally into the rock on the canyon wall! You can see it clearly in one of my pictures at the above link. So cool!! May you always find peace in the scent of fresh air, in the way breeze feels against your skin, in the glistening reflection of a splashing creek, and in the sound of wind in the trees. Stay humble. Stay kind. Stay thankful. Keep hope. Keep smiling. Keep laughing. Love and respect nature, because that is where you will find a true lifetime of happiness! Also love and respect everyone who crosses your path. There is a reason why they did. If I see you on the trail, I promise to say "Hi" :-)

Not so much of a hike but a great little swimming hole at the end. Very short and easy to get to the falls. I like that you can actually swim under the falls. Went July 14th and the water was very cold

Absolutely beautiful spot, super quick and easy hike, can get to it in less than two minutes from the parking lot but when you are in there it feels like you are in a whole different gorgeous place. Honestly enjoyed it even more than I enjoyed gorge trail bc of how secluded it felt. This spot def doesn’t get as much credit as it should. Plus you can swim there if you want to also and may be lucky enough to have the place to yourself, only two other people were there when I went

It’s in a campground. Not far from the parking lot. Walk up some steps to get to it along the water bed. Then you get to the beautiful falls. Go early. A lot of people swimming

$2 to get into Montana Falls park and easy walk on stairs to falls. Lovely waterfall but there were about 30 kids in it so best avoided on hot summer days.

Quick walk to the falls. Went with my dog and it was okay. There are some metal grated steps that were hard for her to walk on so just had to carry her but other than that it was great!
