Yellow Trail To River
Very quiet on a Sunday eve. Beautiful stroll through the woods in the yellow and orange trails. A wonderful field stroll with the perfect shady tree and bench to rest on the blue trail. Spent 90 min and just began to explore.
Enjoyed the orange trail - took you through the woods.
this trail is near Hudson, so more chance of seeing people on the trail. amd it's a great dog walking trail so most people have dogs. even on a cool and cloudy day, the parking lot was almost full. however that did not translate into our walk. the area is so big and offers multiple trails, so we only passed 3 people the whole time. the trail on the field opens way to a forest trail. we missed the yellow trail that leads to the Hudson view, but will try that another day that is sunnier so we can enjoy the view unobscured by low clouds. definitely want to try to blue trail nect time. the yellow trail eventually ended at the red trail, which took us to the town park. happy trails!
