Awesome trail! It is definitely difficult but a very rewarding view at the top. At times it felt like we were almost at the top but still had another solid hour (or more) of hiking to do. Trail was very Well maintained and clearly marked!

Not a trail for novices. Some steep scrambles and challenging terrain. Great views during the hike and at the summit.

A great trail! Be warned this is a steep trail pretty much all the way to the summit. The trail is easily marked and well maintained. At the split its about an hour to Rocky peak summit and an hour back down to the split. The summit of Giant is fairly open and flat, a great space to relax and grab some food and water and take in the views.

Great hike, lots of wildflowers, several falcons. Bugs weren't bad, tiny bit of mud. Get there early, the trail becomes very busy very quickly.

Not an easy hike. My app stopped working off and on so recording is not accurate. The view was amazing of course.

Really cool trail. There were plenty of spectacular views on the way to the top, and this hike gave me a great workout because of its fairly constantly steep incline. Several rock scrambles.

Very well marked trail. Steep incline pretty much right from the start. A little muddy in spots, but easy to keep your feet above it by stepping on rocks, or around the sides. Spectacular views all along the way, and beautiful, rare florals growing near the top. This trail is simply beautiful, and will leave you feeling tired and well worked out at the end of the day. Worth toasting the day with a chilled beverage afterwards.

So many views on the way up that made it ok that the clouds blocked the views at the top

Amazing views throughout the trail. Definitely need to climb up and down rocks. Would recommend shoes with good grip. Clearly marked. Shaded throughout most of the hike. Went early August and the top peak was super windy/cold

Perfect weather, set out at 7:45am. There's really no easing into this hike, it's pretty steep, and very rocky from the start. Second mile is challenging, but there are several outlooks and fun rock faces to navigate to keep things interesting. Views from the summit are incredible.
