A simple hike out and back along the northern section of Seneca lake.
Hike this during a high wind and the waves were crashing along the sea wall. Amazing that the waves were so high on a lake, felt like we were along an ocean seafront.

Had a beautiful morning stroll along the lake shore.

This is a lovely, paved trail in Geneva, NY, at the north end of Seneca Lake.
There are mile markers along the way. The trail is located in Seneca State Park on the east end of the trail. Going west it passes by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and boat launches. Then past a Ramada Inn and a few city docks and a long pier. It continues west along the lake and joints railroad tracks.
People tend to walk or jog on this trail. It is also popular for walking dogs. I don't think it is more than 4 miles. There is plenty of parking in the State park, at the Chamber of Commerce and the Ramada Inn. It is open year around, is especially pleasant in the summer. There is also fishing and bird watching here.
