This is a great walking trail. It’s definitely easy hiking. I tool my husband who is an armchair athlete and inexperienced hiker and he did well. The views on this hike are lovely. It recently rained so some of the trail was muddy, but mostly dry terrain. Directions through IMaps were incorrect, you have to go into the park toward the civil war parade grounds. We opted to park there instead of the trailhead. It was a short walk to the trail from there. Make sure you take bug spray as the mosquitoes are plentiful and aggressive.

Amazing views... basically all alone on the trail. Lots of wildlife.

It was beautifully challenging. A very well-kept path. Definitely more for the mountain biking experience . We actually met groomers on the trail who were very proud of their work and we let them know we appreciated it and their dedication.

Pretty trail on the old rail-bed. Easy riding with some great views of the gorge when you connect to the Letchworth State Park Trail.
