For this area of NY this is a pretty darn good place to hike. Doesn’t have the mountains of the west coast but substitutes for the lush greenery. Bugs are prevalent so be prepared whether with nets or bug spray. The trail is between the gorge and road the entire way. Nice view of the lower fall. Not a terribly difficult trail but I’m also in shape.

Beautiful morning with fog in the gorge and nice fall colors. I’m not normally a fan of trails that parallel a road just a short distance away but the great scenery makes this one tolerable.

Great trail to include views of the falls. Went out for the day with a group of friends. Bring water in summer! Would recommend.

Loved it! Went hiking today after a snow storm so the trail was covered with snow and somewhat slippery. I was frustrated that I couldnt finish the trail due to the weather condition and construction so Im definitely going back during the fall!

if your looking for a nice day trip this is the one. me and a group camped in the camp ground drop a car at the top by upper falls then drove back and started at the bottom. we walked through the day stopped for lunch took a good amount of time. some other good views are trail 18 off the camp ground, allows for more adventurous hikers to go off the path

There are so many trails with different skill levels offered at this park. I recommend getting a trail map and plan your hikes. You will discover each trails has lots to offer in the views and difficulty. The falls trails can get quite crowded but worth the dealing with it. I don't recommend dining at Glenn Iris Inn.

An amazing place to visit and hike. We hiked many parts of the main trail and the views are spectacular of the canyon and the numerous waterfalls in the park. Drive to the stops and hike the back trails, you will find some real gems on these hikes. The best falls are the mid falls.
